Cara Delevingne's acting career looks to be hotting up with a rumoured role in Pan
If the rumor mill is correct model Cara Delevingne is about to swim from the runway to Neverland with a role as a mermaid in the upcoming Pan movie. Cara has previously made it clear that she has her sights set on an acting career and this whole modelling thing is just a place holder. So with, at last count, potentially five acting credits on her growing CV, will Cara soon be ditching the runway for Hollywood?
Cara Delevingne could have a role in Pan
Delevingne on the big screen first happened in 2012, when the model scored a small part in Joe Wright’s 2012 adaptation of Anna Karenina, starring Kiera Knightly. Cara’s part as Princess Sorokina, the marriage interest of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Count Vronsky was a small role, but the model must have done enough to impress director Joe Wright who is also helming the upcoming Pan. For Cara her first big acting experience was all she could have hoped for, as she described being on set as ”the best time of my life. I was, like, this is where I belong.” adding ”I’ve never worked or enjoyed myself more in my life.”

Currently Cara has three films she’s appearing in set for release this year. There’s London Fields which stars Billy Bob Thornton and Amber Heard and features a cameo from Johnny Depp. Cara’s role is reported to be of a pregnant teenager and late last year she was pictured in a dreadlocked wig thought to be for the movie. Also upcoming is Brit flick Kids in Love, for which she filmed scenes at the Notting Hill Carnival. Directed by Chris Foggin, Cara will be sharing screen time with BAFTA rising star winner Will Poulter in the movie which is set for a September 25th release.
