Cara Delevingne has landed a movie role as a party girl.

The 20-year-old model is ''really excited'' for her role in 'Kids in Love', a drama about a group of teenagers who enjoy crazy nights out in London, boozing till the early hours of the morning, and taking drugs.

A friend of the bushy-browed beauty told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ''The film is all about rich kids who live a wild lifestyle filled with parties and drugs. So some aspects of the storyline will not be a particularly big stretch for Cara.

''It will be Cara's first big screen role, so she's really excited about it and is eager to make sure that she does a good job. Her name in itself will obviously be a big draw for the film too.''

The film is being directed by Cara's friend Preston Thompson and will begin shooting at Ealing Studios in London in September.

Cara had a small role in the 2012 film 'Anna Karenina' which starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Keira Knightley and Jude Law.

The model played Princess Sorokina, the marital interest of Taylor-Johnson's Count Vronsky.
