Teen Mystery Movie Paper Towns Has Fought Off The Competition To Take The Top Spot At The U.k. Box Office.
The film, featuring model Cara Delevingne and based on the novel by young adult fiction author John Green, took $3.4 million (£2.1 million) to top the chart on its opening weekend (21-23Aug15).
Disney's acclaimed animation Inside Out stayed in second place, with $2.2 million (£1.4 million) in ticket sales, and horror sequel Sinister 2 debuted in third, with $1.8 million (£1.1 million).
The top five was rounded out by Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation ($1.6 million/£1 million) and Guy Ritchie's spy thriller The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ($1.4 million/£900,000) in fourth and fifth respectively.
