Cara Delevingne has never been what you'd call conventional. She's hardly one for seductive selfies and photos of healthy brunches, but she does like posting ridiculous videos, hilarious memes and photos of herself goofing around with friends. As her new movie 'Suicide Squad' quickly approaches, we uncover a few little known facts about this model-turned-moviestar.

Cara DelevingneCara Delevingne never ceases to surprise us

1. She streaked through a forest for 'Suicide Squad' - After director David Ayer cast her in the role of Enchantress for his upcoming supervillain movie, he encouraged her to immerse herself fearlessly into the part. '[He] asked me to go and try and find a forest and, if it was a full moon, get naked and walk through the woods with my feet in the mud, which I did', she told W Magazine. 'There wasn't a full moon, but I howled like a wolf. It would have been really funny if someone had seen me.'

2. She was obsessed with gore as a child - This won't come as much of a surprise as everybody knows she's into the weirdest stuff, but her earliest memories as a kid involve some pretty grim incidents. 'When I was a child, I was obsessed with blood and death. This sounds really dark, but my earliest memory is of cutting myself', she said. 'I was pretending to shave like my dad. One time, I covered my face in shaving foam, and I got his razor and ran it along the bottom of my finger and nearly cut it off.'

3. She's a secret Spice Girls fan - Well, I mean, who isn't? Right? But the only girls Cara dreamed of being when she was little were these popstars. 'I was a few Spice Girls for a while-first Baby, then Sporty, and then Ginger', she said, but added: 'I was never Posh, because she wore little black dresses, and I didn't want to be that kind of girl.' Also, she posted a throwback shot of the 'Wannabe' hitmakers on Instagram on International Women's Day.

4. She suffers from psoriasis - The worst ailment to have when you're a model, but that's Murphy's Law. She even had a flare-up during one Fashion Week a few years ago. 'The worst time of the year for me to be covered in scabs', she told W Magazine in 2013. 'Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, and I'm sensitive. Kate [Moss] saw me before the Louis Vuitton show at 3am, when I was being painted by people to cover the scabs. She said, 'This is horrible! Why is this happening? I need to help you.' She got me a doctor that afternoon.'

5. She loves a bit of karaoke - She's a huge fan of music, so it's logical that she happens to be into the odd sing-a-long. 'I'm a really serious karaoke singer', she has said. 'You don't want to go to karaoke with me because I try really, really hard. My favorite song to perform is Eve's 'Let Me Blow Your Mind'.'

6. She nearly played the lead in Tim Burton's 'Alice In Wonderland' - Cara actually sent in an audition tape for the part of Alice in the 2010 film, which ultimate went to Mia Wasikowska. 'I overplayed it - the way a young girl would overplay all her emotions', she confessed. She was later approached by producer Richard Zanuck's wife Lili who invited her to meet with Burton. 'She told me that they all loved my tape!' She revealed. 'And I went to Tim Burton's house and met with him. I didn't get the part, but that experience lit a fire in me.'

7. She has 'BACON...' tattooed on her foot - Ok, so most people probably know about this bit of trivia by now, but if you don't, you should. Among her numerous tattoos is an ode to her favourite food, etched into the sole of her right foot by New York artist Keith 'Bang Bang' McCurdy. Her other foot has 'Made in England' on the underside.

8. She's a talented drummer - In 2013, she attended make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury's House of #RockNKohl launch at Selfridges where she used the theme to show off her impressive skills on the resident drum kit. With lightning speed moves like that you wonder why she's not already in a rock band! Also, last year on the Spanish talk show 'El Hormiguero' she displayed her talent yet again, and threw in some guitar for good measure. Genius!

9. She's the goddaughter of Joan Collins - Cara's mother was It Girl Pandora Delevingne, so it's no wonder that she's had ties with A-list superstars since she was a baby. Plus, her godfather is Condé Nast executive Nicholas Coleridge. Bet ya didn't know that.

10. She has aristocratic ties - Her grandmother Janie Sheffield was lady-in-waiting to Princess Margaret, and then if we delve deeper into her family tree, we see that her maternal grandfather was Sir Jocelyn Stevens, the grandson of news magnate Sir Edward Hulton, 1st Baronet. Also, her paternal great-grandfather was Viscount Hamar Greenwood.
