France's First Lady Carla Bruni-SARKOZY has officially added actress to her impressive resume after stepping in front of the cameras for Woody Allen's new movie.
The former model and singer joined Owen Wilson on the set of director Allen's new film, Midnight in Paris, on Tuesday (27Jul10).
Sources tell People.com that French leader Nicolas Sarkozy's wife filmed her cameo for over five hours and appeared to enjoy working with Wilson.
Allen's latest European film also features French actress Marion Cotillard and fellow Oscar winner Adrian Brody.
Bruni-Sarkozy plays the director of a Paris museum in the film.
The French First Lady announced the film role in November (10), but insisted, "I am not an actress at all. Maybe I'll be completely hopeless, but I can't miss an opportunity like this one in my life. When I'm a grandmother, I'd like to be able to say I made a film with Woody Allen."
