Carrie Underwood is living her dreams.

The 32-year-old singer, who has four-month-old baby Isaiah with husband Mike Fisher, is currently working on her next album near Nashville, Tennessee after taking a well-earned break to spend time with her first child.

The 'Blown Away' hitmaker said: ''I was focusing on him and my motherhood role. there's just a while other person to think about.''

While the blonde beauty is happy to be back at work, a source close to Carrie says she has never been happier.

The insider told Us Weekly: ''She was born to be a mom. She's living the life she always dreamed of.''

The former 'American Idol' winner, who is vegan, has been showing off her svelte post-pregnancy figure in recent weeks after working out with her trainer Erin Oprea three times a week for the past few months.

The insider added: ''She has a clean lifestyle.''

But Carrie recently insisted she is still ''on her way'' to getting back in shape and can't guarantee herself regular workouts.

She said: ''Workouts have to kind of happen when they can happen. And sometimes Mike is there in the mornings and I'm like, 'Can you watch him for a few minutes... I'm going to go for a run real quick.'

''It's just been kind of my own journey trying to feel like myself again. I'm still on my way. But yeah, I feel good.''
