Carrie Underwood will show her CALIA line at New York Fashion Week.

The 'Something in the Water' hitmaker created the fitness and lifestyle apparel in partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods and is looking forward to not limiting herself to just a spectator role at next month's event.

She said: ''I've been a spectator at Fashion Week a few times but this is the first time I'll be involved.

The CALIA fall collection will be available to be purchased immediately at a pop-up store at The HQ, an idea thought up by Carrie after she grew tired of having to wait six months to buy the clothes she saw on the catwalk.

She added: ''I sit in the audience and say, 'Oh, I love that,' but then realise, 'Oh, I have to wait.'

''But with this, people can see what we're working on right now and buy it immediately. I love that and I hope they will, too.''

And the 32-year-old beauty has admitted the line has been doing well since it was launched in March.

She told WWD: ''[I'm] not one to ask about numbers [but] from what I see on social media and my fans wearing things, it looks like it's dong what we want it to do: bridge the gap between functional workout clothes and something you can wear everyday.''
