Country star Carrie Underwood has Blown Away the competition to debut her new album atop the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
The former American Idol champion shifted 267,000 copies of her fourth release, Blown Away, in its first week in stores, making it the second-biggest album sales figure of the year (12). Only Madonna's Mdna sold more units in seven days in 2012, with 358,000 copies.
Meanwhile, Norah Jones enters at two with Little Broken Hearts and the latest Now 42 compilation is new at three.
Adele's 21 slips two places to four and rapper B.o.B. lands in the top five with his sophomore album, Strange Clouds.
