Fact: The piano featured in classic Oscar-winning drama Casablanca is set to go under the hammer next month (14Dec12) at auction house Sotheby's. The item is expected to fetch up to $1.2 million (£750,000).

Fact: Academy Award-winning classic Casablanca will be re-released later this month (27Mar12) to mark its 70th anniversary. The 1942 movie has been digitally remastered and will be shown at selected theatres across the U.S. on 21 March (12). Casablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, won the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay Oscars in 1943.
