As part of the no contest plea, the singer was not given jail time but he was instructed that he must return to court for a progress report in March 2015. He must also complete 52 Alcohol / Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office issued a statement that the ‘Crazy’ singer was "immediately sentenced by Superior Court Judge Mark Young to three years of formal probation and ordered to complete 360 hours of community service."

Green, a former judge on ‘The Voice’, admitted that he “shared” the ecstasy with the woman but is adamant that he did not “slip” her the drug. The woman originally alleged that she had been at a Los Angeles bar with Green before blacking out and later regaining consciousness in his bed. During the case, it emerged that several witnesses observed the woman later leaving the bar with Green “looking fine”.
A representative for the 39 year old later stated "We are confident that when all the facts come out, it will be clear that if anyone was victimized here, it was Cee Lo. In the meantime, Cee Lo is deeply grateful for the overwhelming support he has received from his fans, his friends, and his colleagues."
In addition to his success with Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 smash ‘Crazy’, Cee Lo enjoyed huge success with his 2010 album The Lady Killer and its accompanying global hit ‘F*** You’. Last year, he also reunited with his former group Goodie Mob to release Age Against The Machine, their first record in nine years.
