Cee Lo Green will include ''sexified showgirls'' in his forthcoming Las Vegas residency shows.

The 'Bright Lights Bigger City' hitmaker is putting on at least 28 flamboyant musical events - entitled 'Cee Lo Green Presents Loberace' - at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, which will feature pyrotechnics, ''mind-twisting magic'' and ''over-the-top creativity''.

Producers for the spectacle - which is due to launch on August 29 - said in a statement: ''The production will combine Cee Lo's flamboyant sense of style and over-the-top creativity, and the show will be as inspired and visually alive as Cee Lo Green.''

The 37-year-old singer-songwriter is also set to include tributes to Prince and The Rolling Stones in the shows, which will depict a musical Journey through time.

The news comes after Cee Lo announced earlier this week he is to release his autobiography next year that will take readers into the ''supernatural'' and ''surreal''.

He said in a statement: ''Forget You? After reading my book, there will be No Doubt that I am meant to be. You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary.

''As Cee Lo Green, a.k.a. 'everybody's brother', I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life; YOU discover CRAZY.''
