Colombian Reggaeton Star Maluma And Mexican Singer Yuri Will Be Part Of A Special Tribute To Late Salsa Legend Celia Cruz At The Inaugural Latin American Music Awards.
The pair will be joined by singer/actress Aymee Nuviola, who portrays Cruz in upcoming biographical TV series Celia, for renditions of the veteran's classic hits, reports Billboard.com.
The musical segment will be part of the first-ever Latin American Music Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on 8 October (15).
Nicky Jam leads the nominees with six nods, while other performers slated to hit the stage include Daddy Yankee, Paulina Rubio, Yandel, Natalie La Rose, Gloria Trevi and Il Volo.
Cuban native Cruz died in 2003.
