Actor Chad Michael Murray can add author to his resume after penning a new short story, which he's making available to fans via his website.
The former One Tree Hill is hoping to raise funds for his favourite charities by giving fans the chance to download Flight of the Cormorant: An Everlast Story.
Devotees can also select which of Murray's three chosen causes will receive their cash.
The charities involved in the initiative are Hunters Hope, To Write Love on her Arms and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
The actor has also created a graphic novel surrounding his new literary hero, Derek Everlast, and that will be released in November (11).
