Chad Ochocinco has been named the second-most influential personality on Twitter.
Chad Ochocinco, the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, has been named the second most influential celebrity on the social networking site Twitter, according to the New York Times.The independent research company 'Twitalizer' ranked Ochocinco second, behind the Brazilian comedian Rafinha Bastos. The 33-year-old ranked well ahead of President Barack Obama, teen sensation Justin Bieber, queen of television Oprah Winfrey, Republican politician Sarah Palin and the actor Charlie Sheen. 'Twitalizer' doesn't just track the number of followers a celebrity might have, it also records 'mentions' and other criteria to determine which personalities are making real contributions to discussions. The Nfl star is a regular user of Twitter and on 24th March 2011 he posted a total of 23 messages, covering topics such as his burgeoning soccer career to philosophical advice.
Despite earning millions of dollars in the Nfl, Chad Ochocinco has recently spoken of his desire to switch from American football to soccer. After a five-day trial with 'Sporting Kansas City' of Major League Soccer, the 33-year-old has been awarded a spot on the team's reserve team.
