Charli XCX has released her latest single 'After The Afterparty'.

The 'Boom Clap' hitmakerhas collaborated with American rapper Lil Yachty on her first track since she released her EP 'Vroom Vroom' earlier this year, which is believed to be available to download on October 28, according to iTunes.

Speaking about her forthcoming record, the 24-year-old singer, who has collaborated with SOPHIE and Stargate on her third studio album, said previuosly: ''I didn't want to make just an album with SOPHIE, and I didn't want to make just an album with Stargate.

''I wanted to make an album with SOPHIE and Stargate. Sure, some of SOPHIE's records are a little harsh and off-the-wall, but the goal is to be making progressive pop music.''

And the brunette beauty has admitted she wants to ''push'' her music and ''shake things up'' with her songs.

She explained: ''I think it always needs a shake up and I think multiple artists do that but I want to push it.

''I've been collaborating with people from PC Music so that's been very inspiring for me - the way they think about music and the way that they create music and transferring that into like a more pop realm is something that is cool and yeah, it's next level! I'm not really saying too much about it right now because I just want it to talk for itself.''
