Charlie Sheen is making news again and, wait for it... this time it’s something positive. The Anger Management star reportedly donated $75000 to the Hermosa Beach Police Association. The money will go towards a little girl’s battle with cancer. 10-year-old Jasmine, the daughter of an officer from Hermosa Beach, has been diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma. CR is a form of cancer, which develops in the muscle tissue and is really difficult and expensive to cure. The year-long treatment includes painful procedures like chemo and radiation therapy.

Sheen learned about the family’s troubles from another police officer and reportedly commented that “no parent should have to go through that” and vowed to help. The next day he followed up on his promise, wiring the money to the fund, started by HBPA. Eddie Braun, Sheen’s stunt double, also pitched in $25,000 for Jasmine’s cause.

This isn’t the only charitable giving Sheen’s been doing recently. His altruistic side tends to get ignored for his more sensational exploits, but, besides giving Lindsay Lohan $100,000 to help with her tax bill, the controversial actor has also been supporting several charities, including the Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorder, Aid for AIDS and the Lily Claire Foundation, among others. We're giving Charlie a big thumbs up for his generosity.
