Charlie Sheen is to star in new movie A Glimpse Inside The Mind of Charlie Swan III.
The movie will follow the life of a successful graphic designer who has fame, money and charm but sees his life unravel after his girlfriend breaks up with him. The movie which sees Roman Coppola, son of Francis Ford Coppola, write and direct will be Sheen's first role since being fired from sitcom Two and a Half Men. The hit CBS show made the 46-year-old actor the highest paid actor on TV netting him $1.8 million per episode but he was fired earlier this year following a string of erratic interviews and insults directed at the show's creator Chuck Lorre. Sheen has also signed a deal with Lionsgate TV to develop another series based on the 2003 ADAM SANDLER movie Anger Management.
Charlie Sheen was born in New York City and is a member of an acting family with his father Martin and three siblings all being actors. He began his movie career alongside Patrick Swayze in Cold War drama Red Dawn before securing his first major role in Oliver Stone's Vietnam epic Platoon, his career continued to develop starring in iconic movie Wall Street alongside Michael Douglas, however, his career has stalled recently following a much publicised breakdown where he appeared on several TV shows behaving inexplicably.
