Cheryl Cole was photographed wiping the tears away from her eyes after being involved in a car crash in the early hours of the morning. Cole's best friend Will.I.AM smashed his Cadillac into a parked car in Los Angeles, with Cheryl banging her head on the car's dashboard, reports the UK's Sun newspaper.
Witnesses said the steering wheel airbag inflated, whacking into the American rapper's face and giving him a badly-bleeding nose. Blood "poured" from Cheryl's nose as Will.i.am tenderly stroked her head. After paramedics arrived, the Girls Aloud singer was treated at the scene, though Will.i.am was taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital for a full check-up, leaving sometime later with a neck-brace and blood stains on his jeans. A source who witnessed the smash said, "Both seemed shaken but were checking each other over. They both had nose bleeds and at least one of the airbags had deployed.Police soon arrived and everyone was told to move back. It was only when Will.i.am stepped out I realised who he was and that the passenger was Cheryl. Will.i.am's main concern was Cheryl". The British songstress assured fans she was fine on Twitter, saying, "Don't worry me and iamwill are fine, promise x".
Will.i.am is expecting to team up with Cole for her forthcoming UK tour, which begins in October 2012. Cheryl Cole's car crash comes two years after the singer beat life threatening malaria.
