The name changes are said to be due to ‘copyright’ issues, but it’s common practice in the groups’ category to give acts a rebranding before the live shows.

While a spokesperson for the show confirmed to the Express that the acts had undergone name changes, they did not comment further. The changes are said to have taken place to avoid any potential ‘copyright issues’.

On Sunday night’s episode of the show, girl group from the Philippines 4th Power were forced to change their name to 4th Impact. But now the remaining five groups have followed, with Alien now known as Alien Uncovered.
Boyband BEKLN have had their name changed to BEKLN Mile, while The First Kings will continue as New Kings Order. Silver Tone have now become Melody Stone and duo Menn On Point will now be known by their first names, Reggie n Bollie.

The Groups will now be put through their paces at the judges’ houses, where Cheryl will be joined by singer Jess Glynne in Rome. Joining Nick Grimshaw and the Boys will be Mark Ronson in the Cotswolds, while Rita Ora and Meghan Trainor will pick the final Girls in LA. In the Overs category Simon Cowell and Louis Tomlinson will be picking their finalists in the South of France.
