But the Chicago Tribune reports that Keef's performance lasted just one song as police put a stop to the hologram just after he had performed single 'I Don't Like'. The around 200 fans in attendance were ordered to leave the site at around 10:25pm.

Keef had chosen to appear via hologram from his home in Beverly Hills as he is unable to visit his home state of Illinois and the surrounding area thanks to various legal troubles and warrants.

Speaking about the police actions, Alki David, CEO of the Hologram USA company said in a statement, "Shame on the mayor and police chief of Hammond for shutting down a voice that can create positive change in a community in desperate need. And for taking away money that could have gone to help the victims' families.”
