More Of Chris Brown's Troubling Rehab Tales Emerge During Trial

Chris Brown

Reporting on Chris Brown’s behavior is becoming redundant at this point, if not just plain wrong – it’s no secret mental illness and life in the public eye don’t really make the best combination. The singer’s bizarre behavior in court on Monday proved that beyond any doubt.

Chris Brown
The troubling account of Brown's behavior in rehab led to the judge extending his jail time.

Representatives of Brown’s former rehab facility, which refused to continue treating the star last week, were present and cited some of the singer’s most shocking moments as reasons for the decision, according to TMZ.

Chris Brown Is Out Of The Fire And In To... Jail

Chris Brown

And on and on it goes – Chris Brown is now out of rehab, but not free. It’s sort of an “out of the frying pan and into the fire” situation, as Brown has been thrown out of his rehab facility and sent to jail. On Friday, the singer was transferred due to a “failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the facility.”

Chris Brown
Brown just can't seem to keep it together these days.

According to the folks at TMZ, the eviction was not related to Brown’s staples of substance abuse or violence. However, they haven’t fished out the exact reason for Brown’s latest round of trouble. His newest problem might be due to his bipolar disorder with which the troubled celebrity was recently diagnosed. According to a letter from the facility as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, “Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.”

PTSD, Bipolar Disorder Behind Chris Brown's Agressive Behavior

Chris Brown Rihanna

Chris Brown has had some infamous bouts of aggression and unpleasant behavior over the past few years. According to the rehab facility he recently checked into, the singer has been suffering from bipolar disorder and PTSD, contributing to his outbursts.

Chris Brown
The diagnosis would explain, but not excuse Brown's violent behavior.

E! News has obtained court documents, which confirm that the facility has diagnosed Brown with both psychological disorders. Apparently his violent behavior was caused by a combination of factors beyond his disorders – sleep deprivation and self-medication are also on the list.

The Railway Man Review

Very Good

A terrific true story is oddly underplayed in this sober, sedate drama about reconciliation and making peace with the past. Strikingly complex performances from Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman help give the film some deeper resonance, even if even it all seems rather under-powered. But the force of emotion in the events makes the film worth a look.

In 1980 Scotland, railway expert Eric (Firth) has defined his entire life by trains. During the Second World War, he was captured by the Japanese and put into forced-labour to build a railway in Thailand. And more recently he met his wife Patti (Kidman) on a train journey. But their marriage starts to collapse when Eric refuses to face up to his torture at the hands of his wartime captors all those years ago, so Patti turns to his war-veteran pal Finlay (Skarsgard) for help. Eventually, Eric makes the difficult decision to return to Thailand and confront his tormenter Nagase (Sanada).

A more Hollywood-style film would play out as a build-up to roaring vengeance, but director Teplitzky internalises the tone, showing us past events in extensive flashbacks as the young Eric and Finlay (Irvine and Reid) try to subvert the young Nagase (Ishida) at every turn. These scenes are eerily tame as well, and only reveal the true horror of Eric's experience when he finally faces up to it himself. Instead, the focus is on his struggle to forgive Nagase, and this gives the film a strongly moving punch.

Chris Brown Order To Undertake More Anger Management After Getting Kicked Out Of Anger Management For Being Too Angry

Chris Brown

It take an especially angry kind of guy to get kicked out of a rehab centre whose sole purpose is dealing with anger management issues, but that's exactly what happened to Chris Brown earlier this month. As his first stint in anger management clearly didn't work, the Los Angeles Probation Department have come up with a novel way of making him pay for his latest violent rage: by sending him back into anger management.

Chris Brown
Brown was kicked out of anger management for being too angry

According to TMZ, who broke the story, Brown was kicked out of the Malibu-based rehab centre after only two weeks after he allegedly flew into a violent rage whilst at the centre, with stuff getting thrown and rants being had. With Brown only in rehab as a sort of pleas bargain with the Probation Dept, when it was revealed that he was kicked out of the rehab facility it looked as though Brown had finally hit the end of the road and would at last end up in jail. This wasn't the case however, as Chris continues to avoid jail.

Chris Brown Swaps Rehab For Community Service As Legal Issues Overlap

Chris Brown

Chris Brown's alleged 3-month stay in rehab has been dropped to just 16 days after he was forced to leave to complete his community service hours for another offence.

The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer must be having a hard time keeping up with all his legal issues - especially when they find themselves overlapping.

After a recent case whereby Brown was charged with misdemeanour assault after a fight outside his Washington DC hotel in October, he signed himself up for a stay in a luxury Malibu rehabilitation clinic to help overcome his anger problems. However, after just 16 days, he was forced to pull out to continue his community service which stemmed from his 2009 conviction for violence against his girlfriend Rihanna.

Chris Brown Admits Himself Into Rehab To Control Anger Issues

Chris Brown

Chris Brown was back in the news earlier this week, getting into trouble with the police for supposedly assaulting a man on the street near where his tour bus was parked. Brown inevitably avoided legal action when he faced a judge in Washington D.C. (where the attack took place), however he might not be so lucky when the latest run in with the law is taken into consideration by the Los Angeles Probation Office.

In what many have seen as an unofficial plea bargain with his probation officers, as soon as Brown arrived back in California following his magistrates court hearing on Monday (28 Oct.) in D.C., Brown immediately visited the patrol board, before he checked himself into a rehabilitation facility in Malibu to control his anger issues. We're not sure at this moment whether this was at the request of law enforcement or whether it was a move by Brown or one of his management team to possibly avoid future jail time.

Brown is still under probation for his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna prior to the Grammys in 2009. Having offended since then and avoided jail time each time, his latest run in with the law may be the final straw. Should Brown be found guilty of breaking the terms of his probation, he faces a potential spell of 4 years behind bars.

Duarte goes on to state that Hood repeatedly punched and kicked him, continuing his brutal attack even when he fell to the ground. In all, Durate reckons he suffered at least twelve kicks to the body and several to the head whilst he was on the floor, having sustained a number of blows prior to collapsing to the floor.

In her written statement, as reported by BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, she described Brown as a man who was polite at first but became confrontational when she asked to see his identification. Brown's companion - the only other passenger in his car - is thought to be Karrueche Tran, Chris' current girlfriend.

RuPaul is known for her strong stance on derogatory slurs and told the Huffington Post's Gay Voices last year, "[I]n the ACT UP age we called ourselves queers because we earned the right, we took the word back. But in reality, once you go even deeper, you know, you have to come from intent. And black folks call themselves the n-word all the time. It's because the intent is coming from a place of love. If the intent is coming from a place of hatred, that's different"

Amanda Bynes Doesn't Remember Photo Taken With Rihanna In 2007

Amanda Bynes Rihanna Chris Brown Chris Daughtry

The Amanda Bynes saga is getting weirder and weirder. Firstly, she called Rihanna ugly and said the reason that Chris Brown beat her up was because she wasn't pretty enough. Then she said it wasn't her in control of the Twitter account at the time. Now she's saying the Bajan star is a "beauty" as well as posting a photograph of the pair she says was "mocked up". It's all well and good, only, the picture - taken in 2007 - is real, according to the New York Daily News. Does Amanda really not remember?

"This is a mocked up image I found on the Internet that I LOVE!" Bynes, 27, wrote. "I love @rihanna! She's such a beauty!" The photograph was a real picture of the pair posing  with Chris Daughtry in 2007, which Bynes clearly doesn't remember. The actress' bizarre feud with Rihanna began late last week, with the troubled star telling the singer, "You look so ugly tryin to be white."

Bynes deleted the tweets and claimed she never wrote them, saying, "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions," though most news outlets have screenshots of the tweets from Amanda's page. In other words, these weren't 'fake' posts circulating Twitter.

Courtney Love Is Voice Of Reason In Unsettling Amanda Bynes Saga

Amanda Bynes Courtney Love Christine Teigen Chris Brown Rihanna

We could hardly watch as Amanda Bynes delivered her latest scathing celebrity Twitter attack this week. The target? Hole singer Courtney Love. We could only imagine how Courtney was going to respond to a 27-year-old kids television star publically bashing her on the micro-blogging site, though it seems the former wife of Kurt Cobain is ready to help, not hurt, Bynes.

The 48-year-old singer, who's had her own troubles splashed across the newspapers for years, tweeted on Tuesday, "pull it together dude," before adding, "Will you people lay off on giving this girl such grief? Shes a beautiful talented young woman, we all go through our ups and downs. grow up!" It prompted television actress Alyssa Milano to respond, tweeting, "@Courtney I would totally be there if you can reach her. Let me know if I can help in any way." The rock singer replied, "@Alyssa_Milano so glad to see this. The industry can be so tough on the soul at times, but it redeems itself with people like you."

Bynes has endured a pretty rough week, getting arrested at her New York apartment for drug possession and shooting down a number of celebrities on Twitter. She reportedly told Rihanna that Chris Brown assaulted her because she wasn't pretty enough. She then told John Legend's girlfriend Chrissy Tiegen, "Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don't look up to u beauty wise. I'm far prettier than u! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are anold ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You're not pretty so I'm not intimidated by you! I think you're jealous that you're just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don't respect you! You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen!" Wowzers! The rant came after Tiegen wrote on Twitter, "The fact that Amanda Byneshas any "support" to retweet is really unsettling. ...Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behaviour."

Why Chris Brown Could Face Four Years In Prison For Minor Car Accident

Chris Brown Rihanna

Chris Brown is facing a potential four year jail stretch after breaking the terms of his probation by giving false insurance information. According to gossip site TMZ.com, officials are allegedly investigating whether Brown should be prosecuted for refusing to co-operate with the victim of a minor car-crash on May 21.

Brown did not dispute that his Range Rover bumped the back of a woman's Mercedes-Benz, though he was apparently reluctant to hand over his insurance details or driving permit number. The 24-year-old apparently "copped an attitude when the woman pressed him for his [information]" though he eventually obliged, though allegedly gave false information. If the reports are true, Brown could be in a serious trouble indeed. The R&B singer is still under probation for his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. According to sources close to Brown, the singer vehemently denies he lied about his insurance information and even provided a photo of the victim's car showing no signs of damage. "When his lawyer attempted to contact [the other driver] not long after the accident, she hung up on him," the insider claims.

Back in February, a Los Angeles judge questioned whether Brown has actually completed the six months' community labour sentenced imposed as part of his five-year probation. A report found that there was "no credible" evidence that the singer has performed the labour. A new hearing is scheduled for June 10, 2013.

Amanda Bynes To Rihanna: Chris Brown Beat You Because You're Not Pretty

Amanda Bynes Rihanna Chris Brown

Amanda Bynes' bizarre week continued in ridiculous style this week, with the former Nickelodeon star allegedly slamming Rihanna on Twitter and claiming her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown beat her because she's not pretty enough. Bynes tweeted, "@rihanna Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough," before hastily deleting the tweet.

She followed the nasty jibe up with another insult, claiming she was considering naming her dog after Rihanna. The Bajan pop-star appeared to get wind of the deleted tweets pretty quickly, posting, "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?" before Bynes responded, "unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!" (she deleted the tweet shortly afterwards).

The latest on the bizarre rant is that Amanda Bynes is claiming the tweets were fake and were posted by someone else. "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!" she added on Twitter. So we're none the wiser really, are we?

Chris Brown Could Face Prison Following Alleged Hit-And-Run

Chris Brown Rihanna

Singer Chris Brown looks as though he might walk away with more than just a bump on his car after crashing his Range Rover into another vehicle last week, as TMZ have reported that not only did Brown fail to hand over his license number to the woman he crashed into, but he also gave her false insurance information and got all up in her grill when she asked for his details.

When Chris rammed his vehicle last Monday (May 21), it looked as though it was over before anything could begin, with Chris appearing to follow protocol and do the right thing after rear-ending someones Mercedes. But it appears as though Chris is still struggling with the whole right and wrong concept after TMZ revealed this Monday (May 27) that not only did Chris fail to give over his information, but also got riled up and started verbally attacking the woman he just ran into. Seriously, what is this guy's problem with women?

This could result in a lengthy stay in prison if it turns out to be true, as Chris is still under probation following his beating of Rihanna. LAPD are now trying to have a one-on-one with the R&B singer about the incident, and if the claims are true then this would mean that Chris broke rule number one on his probation order; don't break any laws, which should send him swiftl to jail.

Rihanna Suing Topshop For Using Unconsented Image… Which She Hates

Rihanna Chris Brown

Rihanna isn’t just suing Topshop because they used an image of her without her permission, but because she actually hates the picture in question. NOW we’re beginning to see where this lawsuit hold its roots.

“The base image of the first claimant (Rihanna) is of such an unflattering nature that it would not be approved,” read a section of the papers submitted by the singer. It goes onto claim that the pic - which showed RiRi wearing her hair in a bandana - was "poor" quality, adding that the "low-quality image and product that would not have been authorised by the first claimant". Rihanna is also annoyed at U.K law, which mean the photographer, rather than the person in the shot, owns the rights to the image. A source has opened up to The Mirror on the subject. “RiRi says it’s the principle. She believes they are taking advantage of artists, that it’s just exploitation and what they are doing is wrong."

Is Chris Brown's Recent Rear-Ender Incident More Proof That He's Back With Karrueche Tran?

Chris Brown Karrueche Tran Rihanna

Surprise, surprise, Chris Brown rear-ended a photographer’s car. The incident occurred this Tuesday, according to a report from TMZ, but what was more interesting was Brown’s company. During the exchange, Brown, who recently split up with on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna, was photographed with his old flame, Karrueche Tran. The two were seen acting very couple-y and yet, sources close to Brown commented for Hollywood Life: 'He's been initiating contact with her, not the other way around. I wouldn't say Karrueche and Chris are together but they are talking and kicking it.'

So nothing is known for certain just yet. It definitely looks like the former couple are on their way to rekindling something though, especially if their online exchanges are anything to go by. Recently, Tran posted an instagram picture of herself and Brown in a, well, compromising position, accompanied by the caption: 'TBT my birthday last year. Who's face am I gonna put my a** in this year? Lmao I'm kidding.'

Well, she may have been kidding, but Brown took the bait and responded with a rather modest “Happy bday @karrueche,” to which Tran responded with that omniscient internet gesture – the hearth. True, it isn’t exactly the raunchiest of exchanges, but, coupled with everything else, it does look like the two might have worked it out.

Chris Brown’s Graffiti – Has He Done Anything Wrong?

Chris Brown

With all of Chris Brown’s misdemeanours, it’s easy just to think, “what’s he done now?” and assume his guilt. But are his graffiti walls really against the law or are they just a bit tasteless?

Turns out, they’re fully against the law, and the former boyfriend of Rihanna is facing a fine, not that it’s going to really put too much of a dent in his finances. "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to," Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, explained. "I know a $300 fine is probably pocket change. But hopefully and maybe, he'll just see the light and decide to be a good neighbor," Negri told the Times. "We're happy to have him — if he just tones it down." Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos said the musician is not backing down; he’s been given 30 days to get if off his walls, but has no plans to do so whatsoever. "They are trying to suspend the First Amendment," Geragos says.

Did anyone really expect Brown to listen to the thoughts of his community and neighbours and act with everyone’s best interests at heart? Come on, this is Chris Brown! The 13-year-old boy inside a man’s body is getting things his own way.

Chris Brown’s Graffiti Styles Cause Community Complaints

Chris Brown

Chris Brown has annoyed his neighbours with some pretty abrasive artwork featured on his wall. The rapper/r&b star has a load of ‘monsters’ emblazoned outside his house, and the community aren’t happy.

Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association has been busy answering loads of calls complaining about the graff. "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall - big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to," Negri told LA Times. "I know a $300 fine is probably pocket change. But hopefully and maybe, he'll just see the light and decide to be a good neighbor," Negri said. "We're happy to have him - if he just tones it down." Chris is ordered to remove the graffiti within 30 days, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. "They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment," said his lawyer Mark Geragos, who is defending the controversial star.

Chris Brown And Rihanna Shouldn’t Be Together, Claims Browns Father, Clinton

Chris Brown Rihanna

Just when you thought the Chris Brown and Rihanna saga was nearing an end, someone from the Brown camp goes and stirs things up again. The latest in this never ending story, the opinions of Clinton Brown.

“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together,” said Clinton Brown, 48. “You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.” Actually, he’s pretty much right there. It was always going to be trouble, but they seem to be simple folk, and we dread to think what might happen now a parent has effectively forbidden their relationship. “I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!” said Brown. “She’s beautiful, she’s exotic, she’s successful,” added, “Sometimes you just need that person who will listen to you without judging, who knows what it feels like. If he talks to someone who’s not in the business they may not understand."

Oh, So Rihanna And Katy Perry Are Best Buddies Again

Rihanna Katy Perry Chris Brown

Remember when Rihanna and Katy Perry were the best of friends, and then.they just wasn't anymore? Yeah, that was weird, but don't fear because they're apparently BFF's once again despite Rhi-Rhi failing to invite her pal to Saturday's strip club antics in Miami. In fact, the lack of invite appears to have gotten the pair talking again.

It all started when Rihanna posted snaps of her late-night fun on Instagram, with Perry commenting, "Ermm.I was in LA Saturday night. Should I be proud or offended I wasn't invited @rihanna #WHOISTHISDOPPLEGANGER." Of course, Rihanna set Perry straight, telling her she wasn't actually in Los Angeles. "@katyperry errm I wasn't! Lol! #miaminights howeverrrrr....I'll still let you spank me!"

Naturally, the pair made a date to see each other, "Don't worry @rihanna I'll make it up to you at Barclays..Or more like let you make it up to me... Hehehe @rihanna". In case you hadn't figured it out yet, Rihanna is playing a show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in May for the Diamonds World Tour, and it looks as though Katy Perry's turning up.

Drake's Feud With Chris Brown Is Far From Over

Chris Brown Drake

Right now it seems that both Drake and Chris Brown are known more for their beef with each other, than for their music.

And the two might not be openly clashing in clubs anymore, but the epic feud is far from over. It just seems to have gotten more passive aggressive. Drake appeared on East Village Radio’s “Keep It Thoro” show to make some scathing comments about Brown. Or maybe they were meant to come off as charitable: "Don't ask me s-t about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake told journalist Elliott Wilson, according to New York Daily News. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I'm more poppin' than him."

Nobody knows how Brown’s ego will take this, but it probably won’t be pretty. But Drake didn’t stop his rant there. Instead, he went on to talk about Brown’s on-again-off-again girlfriend, Rihanna, whom he also once dated. "Don't ask me s-t about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake told journalist Elliott Wilson. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I'm more poppin' than him."

Chris Brown And Drake Drama Dragged Back Up – Drake Talks About Brown's 'Insecurities'

Drake Chris Brown Rihanna

Since Rihanna and Chris Brown finally called it quits, we’ve not heard much from the other troubled celebrity couple: Chris Brown and Drake. The latter has been talking Brown to hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson on "Keep It Thoro".

"Don't ask me sh-- about that man when I come up there and leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," says Drake. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I'm more popping than him and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap. I did what a real n---a would do and treated her with respect," he continued. “All them things combined create an individual that comes up to your radio station and is just gonna do dumb sh--. It shouldn't be about tearing that man down. It shouldn't be about wanting to see me and him tear each other down," he said, assertively. "We have an issue and it's either gonna drag out or maybe in ten years we'll laugh about it over drinks, just let us solve that sh--." Drake and Brown have a notorious history. Their nightclub brawl, which left them both bloodied and bruised is now infamous.

But this interview wasn’t all about badmouthing his rival, Drake also revealed that next week would see two new songs released. He also revealed that his new album will be mostly produced by frequent collaborator Noah “40″ Shebib.

Chris Brown: 'I Lost Everything' - Singer Tries To Mend His Reputation

Chris Brown Rihanna

Chris Brown: I Lost Everything. Singer Chris Brown has apparently been reflecting on his conscience and perhaps unsurprisingly he didn't like what he saw. So maybe this is why he is showing a much softer, regretful side to himself in recent interviews, particularly his chat with Matt Lauer on Monday's Today Show (April 1).

Chris Brown
Chris Brown: A Changed Man?

Now, this turn of character may have just been an April Fools joke from Brown, we wouldn't put that past him, but then again he may genuinely be sorry for acting like the biggest douche on the planet and thinks now it is time to make amends with the world. Maybe his record label have asked him to pretend to be nice, in order to shift more units of his latest album, X, but whatever his game is you can be forgiven for not wanting to fall for this potential act of redemption (especially if you're Rihanna).

Chris Brown Makes The Discovery Of The Century: Hitting Women Is Wrong

Chris Brown Rihanna

Well it's taken a solid 23-years of brainstorming and experimenting, but Chris Brown has finally come to the conclusion that hitting women, in any capacity, is not a good idea. The R&B singer, whose troubled relationship with fellow pop star Rihanna prompted him to begin his investigation, detailed his findings on CBS' Today programme earlier this morning where he revealed his full hypothesis on whether hitting the opposite sex is a positive experience.

Chris Brown
Chris Brown has finally come to the conclusion that hitting women is wrong

Brown caught up with Matt Lauer on Today to discuss his upcoming musical ventures and whatever horrendous activities he occupies the rest of his time with, when Lauer swooped in to ask the potentially dangerous question of what happened between Brown and Rihanna on Grammy night 2010. Last time an early morning presenter asked the singer about the incident, on Good Morning America back in 2011, it ended with him hurling a chair through a window. Clearly his findings had not advanced much by this point but we are happy to announce that now it seems his years of investigation have paid off.

Chris Brown Tells Drake 'F*** You' At Benefit Event

Chris Brown

Chris Brown might now be happy now he’s back with Rihanna but it’s clear the feud between him and Drake is going to take some time to heel. You might remember that the pair and their respective entourages had an altercation last summer in a New York night club which left people injured and the club shut down.

Well, time hasn’t eased the bitterness over that evidently. According to an E! Online source, Brown was at the Emerson Theater in Hollywood last night (March 7, 2013), and things went wrong when he saw that the DJ had ‘Start From The Bottom Up’ by Drake cued up. At around 1:20 am, Brown apparently hopped up from his center table under the DJ booth and got on the mic. Telling the DJ to stop playing the music, he told the crowd "The DJ can play this s**t, but I want you all to know, F**k Drake!" and gave everyone the middle finger.

Law & Order: SVU Rihanna And Chris Brown Episode – Dodgy Ground But No Laws Broken

Rihanna Chris Brown

There’s no doubt the storyline and characters in Law & Order are based on Rihanna and Chris Brown’s turbulent relationship over the past few years, even though Caleb Bryant actually kills Riha- sorry, Misha.

But does Chris Brown, if he wanted to take things to court, have a case against the show for portraying him as a murderer? Not according to Maryland publishing attorney Daniel Steven. “There is a different standard for public figures vs. individuals,” Steven said. “The public figures have less rights,” he continued to the IBTimes, explaining that this is an extension of First Amendment freedoms allowing journalists to publicly criticize high-profile individuals. Plus, and we think this is an important point: Rihanna is very much still alive. "If you throw in some fictional elements into a story you are protected," said Andrew Berger, a New York attorney who specializes in intellectual property and trademark law. “That is exactly what people do in these situations. … They change the story so it doesn’t look like a slavish copy of the truth.”

No Club Entry For Drake As Chris Brown Was There First

Chris Brown Drake Rihanna

The strange celebrity triangle between Chris Brown, Drake and Rihanna is so well known, clubs are starting to keep them apart. You would have thought having A-list celebs in your club could only be a positive, but not for Hollywood Nightclub, Playhouse.

And bravo to the playhouse for avoiding what probably would have been an ugly situation. It certainly was last time they were in the same vicinity as each other, when an almighty brawl broke out, ruining the V.I.P area at swanky SoHo nightclub W.I.P. Now Drake and Brown are suing each other for that fight, each hoping that if the French model – injured in the fracas – wins his lawsuit, they won’t have to pay up. To be fair to Drake, when he learnt he wasn’t getting in to the club due to Brown’s presence, he left without a fuss. "Bouncers sent Drake on his way Wednesday night because Chris Brown was already partying at a table inside and they wanted to avoid any possible brawl scenarios," a source told gossip site TMZ.

That near miss didn’t diffuse the headlines for the night, though, no way. Chris Brown and Rihanna’s recently reinstated relationship appears to be on the rocks already as they were reportedly ignoring each other, with some reports even suggesting Brown was rubbing his presence at the club in Riri’s face. That didn’t last long, did it?

Chris Brown’s Home Video A Nostalgic Journey

Chris Brown Rihanna

Chris Brown is telling us something with his video for Home – a kind of docu-montage which is fitting with the song’s title.

It's packed with footage of him preparing for his tour, spending time with his entourage and interacting with legions of screaming fans. "Wish I could go back to when I was young/ Wish I could go back from where I came from," sings Brown, yearning for a life before the controversy, the fights and the court cases. "A lot of the music nowadays, I love it, but it's very gimmicky. Even some of my music is gimmicky," Brown said, according to E! online before the Grammys. "But I just want to go back to the real music — a lot of instruments, the real band, essence of being able to perform and be an entertainer." So are we seeing a new side of Mr Brown? His latest video would certainly suggest so, but then again, his valentines present to Rihanna would strongly suggest otherwise. Obviously pictures can be deceiving, but she received what looks like a copious amount of marijuana, and posted it on Instagram with the caption, "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy". No one actually knows if that was a gift from Chris, either.

So after weeks of reconciliation, did Valentines Day prove difficult for the tumultuous couple? "Rihanna refused to sit with or even near Chris - and when Chris noticed she was there, he made a huge show of rubbing his presence in her face," a source told The Mail of the pair’s time in a club.

Was Adele Telling Chris Brown Off? She Tweets The Truth

Adele Chris Brown Rihanna Beyonce Knowles Katy Perry Jennifer Lopez Grammy Awards

While some bands got some awards and gave some speeches, the real essence of The Grammys could be found elsewhere. What? You might ask; celebrity gossip of course! And what could be better than British powerhouse singer Adele telling Chris Brown off... or did she?

The photo certainly suggest she was giving him an earful for not awarding Frank Ocean with a standing ovation, which everyone else did, or for beating up Rihanna all those years ago. Adele looks like she's shouting, and Brown looks on the defensive, but that's not really the way it panned out. "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!" tweeted the Skyfall singer and Oscar nominee, confirming that a war of words didn't, in fact, take place. Adele, bless her, seemed star struck herself. And this is a 9-time Grammy award-winning artist! She was prancing around grabbing pictures with all the A-listers, including Beyonce, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and of course, the controversial Mr. Brown.

There was one person she didn't get a picture with though, and that was Ukrainian TV prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who climbed up when the Brit singer won Best Pop Solo Performance and said: "It's such an honour to receive this award" Jennifer Lopez sorted him out, and he ended up spending a night in jail. Worth it? Probably.

Reef-anna! Chris Brown And Rihanna On Post-Grammys Pot Binge?

Chris Brown Rihanna Grammy Awards

Chris Brown is already having a bad influence on Rihanna, since they’ve got back together – or is it the other way round? Either way, the controversial couple sure knew how to get tongues wagging at the Grammys at the weekend, with the pair reportedly celebrating the evening by lighting up a marijuana joint and having a smoke at the music event’s after party.

Of course, Chris Brown and Rihanna were making Grammys headlines four years ago for even darker reasons, when it was revealed that Brown had physically assaulted the pop star in their car. Despite the consternation of the rest of the world, though, the pair have managed to reconcile and are, as we understand it, back in a relationship together. TMZ reports that Rihanna won the seventh Grammy of her career and subsequently decided to pop back to an afterparty at the Supperclub in Los Angeles with Brown in tow. Sources say the venue was acrid with the smell of pot smoke.

The pair were spotted leaving the party at about 3:20am in the morning, with Brown driving – slightly worrying if they were wasted as TMZ’s sources claimed they are. And of course, we all know what happened last time they were together in a car around the time of the Grammys...

Rihanna Bares All In New Video 'Stay'

Rihanna Chris Brown

Rihanna was looking pretty classy at the Grammy awards at the weekend, wearing a graceful red gown that fell into line with the event’s notoriously strict dress code regulations. However, it’s back to the RiRi we know and, um, love on her new video Stay, with the pop star completely naked in a bath. Vintage.

The song is believed to refer to her turbulent relationship with Chris Brown, with whom she is now of course back together with. The Grammys took place four years to the day since he assaulted her in a car on the night of the same event back in 2009, but she’s been able to forgive and forget the controversial rapper, even though many of the press and even her fans haven’t. The song itself is a slower one from her latest album Unapologetic which went to number eight in the US billboards on its release.

Of course, there’s nothing we like better than having a sit down in the bath and a contemplation about our formerly abusive current boyfriend, and the video shows how, really, she’s just like one of us. She’s a lot richer and all that though, obviously. It should be pointed out that this is a classily shot video, Rihanna may be naked but there’s not a hint of any untoward in sight and, really, if you’re going for a bath you’re not going to go in your bikini are you. Check it out below.

Chris Brown Gets Almighty Telling Off From Adele Over Frank Ocean Snub

Chris Brown Frank Ocean Adele

Chris Brown certainly met his match at the Grammys on Sunday evening after making the rather ill-thought-out decision to remain firmly in his seat during a standing ovation for Frank Ocean, who won the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Adele, 24, looked on as Chris failed to rise from his seat, shaking her head and appearing to give Brown, 23, a piece of her mind.

In fairness, Brown was always going to look silly (especially wearing a white suit) - he fought Ocean in a Los Angeles parking lot around three weeks ago, leaving the Odd Future singer with an injured hand. Though Rihanna's boyfriend applauded the Channel Orange singer, he remained in his seat, much to Adele's chagrin. Once Ocean's acceptance speech was compete, new mother Adele made her way over to Brown to discuss his behaviour, with the R&B star looking rather sheepish and attempting to explain himself. According to the Daily Mail, the pair were later seen hugging and posing - albeit stiffly - for a photograph. The Rolling In The Deep singer did manage to get a picture with two time Grammy award-winner Frank, who rounded off his successful night by making the first televised performance of his track Forrest Gump.

Other winners at the biggest event on the music calendar included The Black Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Jay-Z and Kanye West.

Chris Brown Car Crash: Singer Plans To Sue, Paparazzi Call It 'Defamatory' To Blame Them

Chris Brown

Within the space of one week Chris Brown has managed to get into a scuffle with Frank Ocean, crash his car and annoy the paparazzi - which turns the tables on a profession that is often seen in a distinctly negative light. The singer crashed his car the day before the Grammys, he blamed the papz but they have since turned around and warned him to be careful about what he says.

After the initial crash on Saturday (9th February) Brown's rep spoke to E! News blaming it on  "being ruthlessly pursued by paparazzi." According to reports, Chris said that his car was cut off by two vehicles. Paparazzi then jumped out of the cars with cameras and "aggressively approached his vehicle," his rep said. To try to get away he went down an alley and ended up crashing his car.

TMZ has since spoken to the owner of the agency who employs the paparazzi who were on the scene, Chris Doherty. His statement contradicts Brown: "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed ... He crashed his car and it's convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements."

Grammys 2013: Sore Loser Chris Brown Refused To Stand For Frank Ocean’s Grammy Win

Chris Brown Frank Ocean

Rihanna and Chris Brown attended the Grammys like nothing ever happened last night. If only we could say the same for Frank Ocean and Chris Brown. The controversial singer refused to participate in the standing ovation for Ocean when Channel Orange beat out Fortune in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category.

While everyone else was showing their appreciation for the talented Odd Future youngster, Brown remained on his behind. Last month, Ocean accused Brown of punching him after a spat in the car park of a West Hollywood recording studio; they were reportedly fighting over a parking space. Ocean tweeted that he got "jumped by Chris and a couple of guys" and it was reported that he wanted to take things further and get Brown charged (he still might) but as of yet, no formal action has been taken. Singer Adele appeared unimpressed as she clocked Brown refusing to stand.

That moment of one-upmanship for Frank Ocean will have been short-lived; he was expected to clean up with the critically acclaimed Channel Orange this year yet only managed a solitary nod - Urban Contemporary Album. Beaten to Best Album by Mumford & Sons, Best New Artist by Fun and Record of The Year by Gotye, it turned out to be a rather forgettable night for Frank. Still, it was his first ever Grammy, and we’re sure there’ll be more where that came from.

Chris Brown's Documents A Fraud? D.A. Claims Yes, His Lawyer Says 'Horsesh*t'

Chris Brown Rihanna

The LA County District Attorney thinks that singer Chris Brown may have faked documents that state he did 202 days of community service (22 days over and above his required 180), but Brown's lawyer is calling HS (that's horsesh*t), according to TMZ.

Chris Brown can't go a day without trouble finding him, it seems. Since photos were revealed of his off/on girlfriend Rihanna with her face beaten and bruised after he hit her the night before the 2009 Grammys the world has simply not been on his side. He's been on probation for the attack on her ever since, having been sentenced to 180 days of community service, not jail. Recently, not only has he been involved in an altercation with Frank Ocean, but now the DA in LA thinks he may have faked the documents.

As the Mirror quote, the DA cited "significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting" of the documentation handed in. Apparently, the detective put on the job to oversee his community service was told she needn't "continue monitoring him" because Brown's own mother could do it. Dodgy? Yeah, pretty dodgy.

Frank Ocean Accuses Chris Brown Of Threatening To Shoot Him (Plus Homophobia)

Chris Brown Frank Ocean

Despite not pressing charges, Frank Ocean has accused Chris Brown of threatening to shoot him during their parking lot brawl in Los Angeles last week. According to the official police report - obtained by TMZ.com - Ocean also accuses someone in Brown's entourage of calling him a "fagg*t".

Ocean - who came out last year before the release of his hugely impressive debut Channel Orange - told police that Brown punched him in the face after a disagreement about a parking space. Brown reportedly tried to shake his hand, but when Ocean refused, Brown punched him in the face. According to the report, Ocean said two of Brown's team then jumped in, pushing him into a corner and trying to kick him. That's when he heard someone yell the homophobic slur.

Cops say Ocean told them that Brown threatened to short him, saying, "We can bust on you too!" The Odd Future singer suffered cuts and bruises in the fight, which lasted about 3 minutes in total, but refused medical treatment at the scene. He later said in his blog that he didn't want to press charges, but reportedly told police that he wanted to see Brown locked up!

Frank Ocean Drops All Charges Against Chris Brown Following Car Park Assault

Frank Ocean Chris Brown

Frank Ocean has issued a statement, in which he says he will not be seeking any criminal damages from everybody's favourite hate figure, Chris Brown, after he was assaulted by Brown in a car park in Los Angeles last month.

In the statement, posted on his official website, Frank had this to say: "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."

Forgiveness and wisdom, these are words that could have only come from Ocean's mouth, as something tells us that Brown - who currently ranks amongst the Westboro Baptist Church and the Taliban in terms of opinion polls - is lacking in the two, but at least Ocean knows how to set a good example.

Rihanna And Chris Brown Back Together: Rihanna Likes Chris Brown, But Why Does Anyone Else?

Chris Brown Rihanna

Rihanna and Chris Brown have finally officiated their relationship to much contention, after months of speculation, numerous public appearances and some rather revealing instagram photos. Chris Brown concerts and music has been boycotted across the world, most recently in Sweden and South Africa, but despite the enormous backlash, he's still a talking point, he's still selling lots of music and he's still making plenty of public appearances. So... people must like him.

Rihanna gave her reasons for forgiving him and getting back together with him to Rolling Stone.

"I decided it was more important for me to be happy," she said. "I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake."
