Police were called to the home of Chris Brown in the early hours of Tuesday morning (August 30th 2016) after a female dialled 911 to report that he had aimed a firearm at her, during a party at the singer's home. She claimed she had simply been admiring a diamond necklace before the incident occurred.

Miss California Regional 2016 Baylee Curran told TMZ Live that she phoned the police after he pointed a gun at her, an incident which happened after she admired a piece of jewellery that one of Brown's friends was displaying. The friend allegedly went crazy, which prompted to Chris to react in much the same way and draw his firearm.

'I saw the diamond cross necklace and, of course, I'm going to admire it. I did not pick it up, I did not try to take it, anything to that sort', she said. 'I don't know if it was his friend who kinda triggered Chris, but he said 'Don't go near the diamonds', starting calling me names saying 'Get the f*** outside, go back outside', and that's when Chris kinda went off and said 'What did I tell you girls, I've been telling you over and over again' and then he pulled out the gun and he said 'Get the f*** out of here' and threatened me with it and that's when I just left.'

She added that one of his entourage tried to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement after the event but she refused, and she refused to confirm or deny if there was any drugs or alcohol at the party.

When the police arrived, Chris Brown refused to exit his Los Angeles home before the arrival of his attorney Mark Geragos. Eventually , his entourage filed out into the street first and allowed police to search them for weapons, and Chris went willingly to the station. Before he left, however, he released a couple of ranting videos on Instagram (now deleted), complaining about how the law enforcement have been treating him.

'So I'm asleep half the damn night, I just wake up, all these motherf***ing helicopter choppers is around, police out there out the gate', he said. 'I stay out of the way, take care of my daughter, do work, I don't need f***ing ugly b***hes, trifling b***hes, whatever the f*** it is. I'm not on that bro, I'm way too tired, I don't wanna be dealing with this bulls**t.'

He adds that whenever he calls the cops, he is hardly met with the same immediate reception. 'When I call the police for stalker people or whatever endangering my life, they don't come 'til the next day', he said. 'Let somebody make an allegation about me, and oh yeah the whole f***ing SWAT team. I'm innocent.'

He also lashed out at the media for publishing stories suggesting he had 'barricaded [himself] in [his] house'. 'Have you seen my house? I'mma barricade myself in a palace?' He said. 'Black Lives Matter, n***a. I don't care, ya'll gonna stop playing on me like I'm the villain out here, like I'm going crazy. I'm not! You guys gotta be f***ed up though so good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you gonna walk right up in here and you gonna see nothing.'

Chris Brown was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon but later released on $250,000 bail. He is due to attend court on September 20th. Meanwhile, his attorney has expressed his support of the singer, Tweeting: 'Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy.'

Ray J, who also attended the party according to Baylee, released a video to support his friend. 'I'm real upset about today', he said. 'I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be.'
