Chris Brown isn't the easiest person to sympathise with, but when someone's health is at risk there is no laughing matter at hand. The controversial singer suffered a non-epileptic seizure on Friday (9 August) morning during a recording session in a Los Angeles studio, where emergency services rushed to treat the 24-year-old R&B star, who refused to be taken to hospital after being treated.

Citing the attack on "stress" and "fatigue," Brown managed to shrug off his medical issues to appear at court; a basketball court, to compete in a charity game.

Over the weekend, Team Breezy took on a team made up of LAPD officiers in a charity game to help encourage kids to ignore the temptations of a crime-filled life. Organised by the LAPD, a local anit-violence charity called Second Call and Symphonic Love, Brown's own charity, the game attracted around 300 people to Alain Leroy Locke Charter Prep Academy gym in South Central LA, where onlookers have since claimed that Brown looked completely fit and healthy and in no way like he had only recently suffered a medical emergency.

"We have partnered with Chris Brown for about four months," Skipp Townsend, an organiser for Second Call organizer told E! News. "This is just one way he decided to give back to the community with a free basketball game. He is really into giving back to the community. All of south L.A. He has given away basketball shoes and done other events."

"He was smiling and very happy to be there. He looked great and healthy. He was hugging fans and grinning big and having a great time," Townsend went on to say, with an eyewitness at the game adding, "I didn't know about any medical problems. He has been playing. He is actually pretty good."

Since his seizure on Friday, the singer has been keeping things on the down low as he tries to avoid any more stress. He refused further medical assistance at the time of his seizure, but no further information relating to his health has been revealed since. As for the final result in the game, Breezy managed to score a few pints but his team couldn't overcome the LAPD, who won the game with more than a 30-point lead.
