Chris Brown plans to cut ties with anyone he deems to be a bad influence in his life.

The 'Fine China' hitmaker - who was released from jail on Sunday (01.06.14) after serving 108 days for violating his probation stemming from his assault on Rihanna in 2009 - is reportedly determined to clean up his image and has assured his record company he plans to focus on his career.

A source close to the 25-year-old star told gossip website TMZ.com that he has vowed to stay away from drugs and bad people, especially those connected to gangs, as he never wants to be incarcerated again.

The insider said that Chris blames many of his recent problems on the people he surrounded himself with in the past, but is also taking responsibility for his erratic behaviour.

The singer, who was recently diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, is now on medication and is stable.

Shortly after his release, Chris wrote on Twitter: ''Humbled and Blessed...Back to the Music and the Fans...Thank you GOD.''

The 'Yeah 3x' hitmaker was originally sentenced to 365 days in custody on May 9 after admitting he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington D.C. last year, but Judge James R. Brandlin gave him credit for the 234 days he had already spent in rehab and jail.
