If the Chris Brown and Rihanna scandal wasn't enough, try the Chris Brown Twitter one; the lack of physical violence makes it more wholesome fun, but it's still not one for the family.

It all started with a heated Twitter battle between Brown and Jenny Johnson, a comedian, who regularly tweets at or about celebrities at their comedic expense. "I look old as f***! I'm only 23," Tweeted Brown, with Johnson responding, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s*** can really age a person." Things escalated from there, with Brown labelling Johnson a "hoe", although she did have to mop up his spelling on that particular insult. Brown ended things by saying, "Just ask Rihanna if she mad??????," (a possible reference to the 'are they or aren't they' rumours floating around the internet), then proceeded to shut down his account for a stretch without explanation. The exchange with Johnson is now deleted, though an explanation of it addressed to his fans is up. "To teambreezy ... Know that I'm not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance," Brown wrote. "Further proved my point of how immature society is." All of the previous tweets have now been deleted, but CNN grabbed them beforehand.

Both parties seemed intent on having the last say, with Johnson tweeting, "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing."
