The controversial singer, who recently duetted with pop star Rita Ora, told British radio station Capital FM that he wants to line up a collaboration with Malik now the pair is now both signed to RCA Records.

The Forever hitmaker says, "Zayn, yeah my homeboy. We're on the same label now yeah. Of course, of course, (I'd work with him). I don't shy away from anyone and I think he's a great artist. Now he's doing his solo thing, I know he has a huge fan base and the fans are waiting to hear his stuff, so it would be cool to get down and collab (sic). I'm not a hard guy to get in the studio with, I'm on everybody's songs, so any time."

Malik quit One Direction earlier this year (15) and recently announced a solo deal with RCA.
