Rockers Daughtry have vowed to hand over a portion of the proceeds from their upcoming U.S. tour to a malaria charity.
The band will kick off its trek in Buffalo, New York on 20 March (12) and play dates into April (12) in support of their latest album Break The Spell.
They've pledged to donate $1 (£0.62) from every ticket sale to Malaria No More, an organisation set up to combat the disease in Africa.
A post on the group's website reads, "Daughtry is also dedicated to using its position to raise awareness about a number of charitable causes.
"For the Break The Spell 2012 Tour, the band will help combat Africa's battle against malaria by donating $1 from every ticket sold to Malaria No More, a leading humanitarian organization determined to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015."
