'Thor's' Chris Hemsworth has just seen the success of the epic sequel 'Thor: The Dark World' and now even more celebrations are in order.

The Australian actor is expecting a child with his actress wife, Elsa Pataky.

People first confirmed the happy news with the couple's rep giving confirmation to the magazine.

This will be the couple's second child as Hemsworth and Pataky, who have been married since 2010, are already parents to an 18 month old daughter called, India Rose.

The 'Fast & Furious' actress spoke about what it is like to be a mother earlier this year with Us Weekly, she said;

"You become more sensitive about a lot of things, with things like this, the ocean, you want to protect it for your kid to be able to see the world the way I saw it. That's important for them to not lose it. There are so many animals endangered now in the ocean; it'll be sad she won't enjoy all those things."

Hemsworth discussed how hard it is to leave his daughter when shooting a movie, "She's the best!" he gushes to People. "It makes it harder and harder to leave and go to work. I enjoy being at home a lot more than I ever have."

Well, Chris came up with a solution for this dilemma, he brought his family to the set of his new movie, 'The Heart of the Sea', which is on the island of La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain. Working away from home does have its perks!

Congratulations!
