Chris Martin and his Coldplay bandmates regret snubbing GLEE creator RYAN MURPHY's offer to showcase their music on his hit musical TV show.
Before Murphy planned his all-Madonna episode, which aired in the U.S. last week (20Apr10), he approached Coldplay with a view to showcasing the British band's music - but the Yellow hitmakers turned him down.
But now the show's a big hit, the bandmates have big regrets about not allowing Murphy access to their back catalogue.
He reveals to E! News that Coldplay told him, "We were wrong."
The brains behind Glee has moved on now and is currently considering episodes dedicated to Britney Spears and Courtney Love, as well as another show featuring Madonna's hits.
And his cast have ideas for musical tributes too - actor Kevin MCHale wants a show dedicated to the music of Cher.
