In a report byTMZ, it has been announced that actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her Coldplay-leading husband Chris Martin are set to move into one of West Los Angeles' most luxurious mansions.

The move will cost the pair a very pretty penny, with the house, designed by famed architect Windsor Smith, begin listed for $10,450,000. It is also believed that the pair has paid close to the asking price.

Originally built in 2011, the recent real estate crash has clearly taken its toll on the house, given that is was originally listed at $11,960,000 in September 2011. The reassessed price gives an indication of the grandeur of the house, but also shows that the housing crisis is still very much in full swing. However, many have since commented on the price saying that it is a clear indication of the over-inflated house prices in America, and that the house would not cost as much had it been built elsewhere in the country.

The newly acquired mansion has 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms for the family of four to enjoy and there is even a private stable among the rolling, sycamore-lined estate.
