Chris Pratt has said that he and wife Anna Faris miss the days before he slimmed down to become an action star in movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic Park. Appearing on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert', the actor said that “fat Pratt” might even make a comeback one day.

Colbert asked him: “I know you’re a big action star now and you’ve talked about getting in shape, but I kind of miss ‘Fat Pratt’. Do you miss him at all?” “Yes, I do,” Pratt responded. But it’s not just the actor who misses his old body, his wife Anna Faris feels the same.

“My wife does too!” he continued. “She likes to cook and I don’t get to eat as much of her cooking as I used to. Yeah, I miss him.” For his role as Peter Quill in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy Pratt lost 60 pounds through cutting beer out of his diet and embarking on an intense workout regime.

But Pratt’s new success as an action star doesn't mean "fat Pratt" won’t return someday. "He's not gone forever," Pratt said. "He's just on vacation for a couple years, but he's coming back.” Earlier this week the actor revealed to Parade magazine that he was taking a six month break from work.

"I've been on the road for 14 months — I did three movies back to back to back — so I'm taking six months off," he said. During the break Pratt will be spending some quality time with his wife and their three-year-old son Jack.

"I'm taking Jack to Jack's Beach — which is what we named the little stretch of beach on an island up on the San Juan Islands where we got a place," he said. “We're going to go back to the fort we built about a month and a half ago when we went for a short visit and see if that’s still there. If not, we're going to build it again."
