Entertaining movie star throwdown news: blockbuster actors Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have placed a bet ahead of February Super Bowl final.

Seattle Seahawks fan Pratt, star of last summer’s success Guardians of the Galaxy, and New England Patriots supporter Evans, who plays Captain America, engaged in a friendly-natured war of words over Twitter on Tuesday night.

Evans instigated the rumble, tweeting first with: “Looks like our teams our going into battle. For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy”. Star-Lord then fired back with: “We both know there’s only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson”, a reference to the Seahawks’ player.

Following a few more exchanges, including Pratt landing a stinger about Tom Brady and the on-going ‘deflate-gate’, in which the Patriots are alleged to have influenced the outcome of their semi-final by letting air out of the balls, the two arrived upon some terms that will benefit one of two charities of their choice.

If the Seahawks win, Evans will be travelling to Seattle Children’s Hospital dressed as Captain America and waving his rival team’s emblematic ‘twelfth man’ flag. But if the Patriots prevail, Pratt will be pulling a similar stunt, where he’ll be obliged to visit Christopher’s Haven, a home for children with cancer in Boston, dressed as Star-Lord and wearing a replica of Tom Brady’s Pats jersey.

Super Bowl XLIX is due to be decided on February 1st at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. But expect a Star-Lord / Captain America throwdown on Twitter too!
