The 49-year-old comedian looks like he is headed for an ugly divorce process.
Since news broke that Chris Rock and his wife Malaak Compton-Rock, who share two daughters together, ages 12 and 10, are getting a divorce after 19 years of marriage, it is becoming obvious that their split was anything but amicable.
Compton-Rock allegedly stopped the comedian from seeing their daughters
The 49 year-old comedian's legal papers filed with the Superior Court of New Jersey, which E!News obtained, show that he claims his future ex-wife has prevented him from seeing their two daughters, Lola and Zara.
"[Rock] is now and always has been a fully involved and participating parent in all aspects of the lives of these children and it is in their best interests for the parties to have joint custody and to equally share residential custody," the court documents read.

"Notwithstanding that the parties have been separated, [Compton-Rock] has repeatedly refused to permit [Rock] normal and usual access to the children, and has acted in a manner detrimental to the children's best interests," the papers continued. "[Rock]'s conduct as aforesaid will be further disclosed by continuing discovery and is directly contrary to the best interests of the children."
Although Compton-Rock has not addressed these accusations yet, her lawyers did say she was very "disappointed" in a statement released to People magazine.
"Malaak is saddened and disappointed that Chris has accused her of keeping their children from him, which he knows is untrue and can be so easily disproved," her attorney David Aronson said in the statement. "We all know Chris leads a very busy public life while Malaak and their children definitely do not. She hopes the privacy of their children is still as important to Chris as it is to her and that it will be respected. They will always be the main focus of her life."
