Christina Aguilera flaunted her figure for Maxim's October issue. In the magazine's interview she defined sexy; which is definitely not being serenaded.

Aguilera has been criticised for her weight loss and gain - unfairly- since the birth of her son Max in 2008. However, the pop star was not afraid to show some skin and her curves in photographs for the magazine. Accompanying the tasteful pictures was an interview in which Aguilera discussed how she'd define sexy, what turns her on and who she'd prefer Justin Timberlake or Ryan Gosling.

The 32-year-old was happy to answer many of Maxim's personal questions. The Voice judge, as reported by USA Today, answered the reporter's questions on what she thought defined "sexy". She stated "trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless." When queried on how she felt about potential love interests singing, the pop sensation declared she does not necessarily need a singing partner, romantically at least. She said that the thought of somebody serenading her would make her "feel weird and run for the hills".

Although Aguilera was happy to answer the magazine's more personal questions honestly, she refused to say who, during her Mickey Mouse Club days was the coolest, out of co-stars Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. She grew slightly nostalgic, stating "They were tight, you know. They'd walk around together all the time, same as me and Britney would. Now look at us. It's funny how that played out."
