Christina Aguilera proved she’s still a dirty girl at heart, as she launched a less-than-savoury attack against tabloids and bloggers, as well as one of her talent show rivals, Simon Cowell.

Speaking to reporters at the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Conference, the singer and The Voice judge went off on one against the tabloid press and bloggers, and she didn’t hold back the expletives either. She said: "I don't read blogs. It's just God-knows-who in *** wherever writing hate ***. You can't take it seriously. I'm sure you've all been hated on at some point by *** people."

Just as people were beginning to uncover their ears, her TV talent show rival and The X Factor judge Simon Cowell came into the discussion and the singer was at it again. This time round she said: "I saw the commercials early on of American Idol of Simon being a *****. I was like, 'Man, that's not what it's about!' I didn't want to treat people like that. I wanted to do The Voice to show that we can be positive. We don't have to knock people down."

XTina also spoke frankly about distancing herself from fellow diva and another rival judge, Mariah Carey, when she was recording her hit Beautiful. She went on to recall her songwriter, Linda Perry, telling her: " 'Don't do all that Mariah ***' — that was her, not me, I love that ***! But she was like, 'Don't be doing all that acrobatic ***,  just sing!' "
