Chrissy Teigen has hit back against the body shamers in the best way possible – with humour. She responded to a commenter on Instagram after a recent topless photograph appeared online on Monday (June 29th).

The 29 year old model captured a screenshot of a comment made by one particularly misguided commenter, who assumed that that the racy photoshoot, taken for the August edition of W magazine, was meant as Teigen unveiling her post-pregnancy body. Except, of course, that Teigen hasn’t had any kids!

Teigen, who is married to soul singer John Legend, decided to immortalise and share the comment, which read “I like Chrissy sometimes lol,” the fan wrote. “Other times yes she's annoying but I like that she's like F it that baby Fd my body up but so what.”

Sharing it on her own Instagram page, she wrote underneath “I can't stop laughing,” the supermodel wrote on Instagram of the comment. “#thatbabyf--kedupmybodybutsowhat #nobaby.”

Teigen’s original snap of the photoshoot, in which her nipple is clearly exposed, has been taken down. However, she has promised that it will make a return in the future. “The nipple has been temporarily silenced but she will be back, oh yes, she will be back,” she wrote on Twitter.

The model has previously called out body shamers on social media, so she’s clearly (and correctly) forthright about the issue. In April 2014, she followed up negative comments about an appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated by responding to one critic: “In what other real life situation would you walk up to someone and tell them they're fat or gained weight?... It's amazing to me that I am told to get over the a**holes but the a**holes are never told to stop being pieces of s***.”
