It’s undoubtedly one of the happiest times of any woman's life but Chrissy Teigen has found herself needing to defend the baby bump that she so proudly sported after announcing her pregnancy to singer husband, John Legend.

The model, 29, announced that she was expecting last week and revealed that her and husband Legend tried IVF once to get their happy news.

Unfortunately, Twitter had some comments to make of its own and users began to suggest that they knew more than the mum-to-be did about her burgeoning bump.

While another commented: "Damn you go big fast! My bestie is due in Feb and she’s ½ your size. Not twins? Probably triplets!"

However, the outspoken social media fan refused to take people’s suggestions lying down and hit out at people for jumping to conclusions.

She said: "Good thing I am unoffendable or this would be a rough few months.

"I did IVF. One at a time. It isn’t twins. I can see the damn thing. Get out of my uterus! I put one embryo in. I have ultrasounds every few days. I didn’t announce at a week."

Even though Twitter couldn’t agree with the expectant lady, everyone did agree on one thing: the baby will be very beautiful and very lucky.
