Claire Danes said her purple dress for the Emmy Awards last night ''leapt off the rack'' just in time following her flight to California from Berlin.
Claire Danes' sparkling purple gown ''leapt off the rack'' in time for the Emmy Awards red carpet yesterday (20.09.15).
The 36-year-old actress joked she was lucky she was wearing anything at all to the primetime ceremony, held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, as she'd flown straight to California from Berlin and managed to snap up her gorgeous Prada floor-length frock just in time to strut her stuff.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest at the event, she said: ''It leapt off the rack and it fit. It's a little rockstar-esque - it's Prada.''
The blonde stunner - who was in Berlin to shoot the new series of 'Homeland' - looked picture perfect in her vibrant dress, featuring cut-out detailing down the sides, as she posed alongside her handsome husband Hugh Dancy.
A chunky gold chain kept her ample cleavage tucked away, while the thick material fell effortlessly over her curves.
Her light locks were pushed back behind her ear and her fringe was styled across her face to highlight her features.
Keeping her accessories simple, yet complimentary to the dress, Claire opted for some diamond stud earrings and a simple ring, which she slipped on to her middle finger.
Her makeup was kept simple with a light dusting of blusher across her cheeks, a swipe of black eye-liner across her lid to accentuate her piercing blue eyes and a nude lip.
