Clint Eastwood went back in time for a fight scene in his new sports movie Trouble With The Curve - he used a clip from a 30-year-old film.
Rather than pick out a young look-alike for the scene, in which Eastwood's cranky baseball scout beats up a guy who disrespects his daughter, the movie veteran told director pal Robert Lorenz to plunder his back catalogue of films for a suitable sequence.
He tells Wenn, "That was a clip from Firefox from 1982. There's numerous selections of me pounding on somebody. That was a good piece to use. It was better than having somebody else do it and make them look like me."
