A warrant for actor Columbus Short's arrest has been increased to $500,000 (Gbp294,000) following the troubled star's no-show in court on Wednesday (20Aug14).
The former Scandal star was scheduled to appear in court to face charges of domestic violence following a fight with his estranged wife Tanee MCCall-Short.
Short has been a fugitive from justice after failing to make it to a hearing last month (Jul14), preferring to extend his Barbados vacation.
His aides tell Tmz.com that the actor is expected to return to the U.S. late on Wednesday.
A bench warrant for his arrest was initially issued on 30 July (14) after he failed to attend a hearing in his domestic violence case.
