Zayn Malik’s been rubbing a few people the wrong way on social media since his departure from One Direction.
Since leaving One Direction earlier this year Zayn Malik has had his fair share of twitter spats, taking on everyone from his former bandmates to Calvin Harris. Now rapper Example and singer Conor Maynard have weighed in on Zayn’s recent twitter antics, which aren't exactly helping to endear the ex-One Directioner to his fellow musicians.
Conor Maynard has ‘unfollowed’ Zayn Malik on twitter.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Example compared Malik to a young Robbie Williams, accusing the singer trying too hard to make a name for himself. "He's probably just a young frustrated guy who is hitting out," Example said.

The popstar will be joined by headliners Rudimental and McBusted from August 28th - 30th.
None other than Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber will be headlining Birmingham's Fusion Festival this Summer, performing for the event's first ever Friday opening on August 28th 2015 as it becomes a 3-day event for the very first time.
Fusion Festival with Vimto will mark an exclusive UK performance for the award-winning, record-breaking popstar, whose last performance in the country was in 2013 as part of his Believe World Tour. He'll be facing 50,000 festival goers at Cofton Park in Birmingham, alongside Saturday and Sunday's respective headliners Rudimental and McBusted.
Union J announced as one of Alton Towers Live 2013 acts
Union J have been announced as one of the acts appearing at this year’s Alton Towers Live event. The former X Factor contestants will be appearing alongside the likes of Olly Murs, Labrinth Rizzle Kicks, James Arthur, Stooshe, Conor Maynard and Little Mix at the event, which takes place on July 6th, 2013. Union J were eliminated from series nine of X Factor, in the semi-finals, when they were just narrowly beaten in the public vote by Christopher Maloney.
Tickets for Alton Towers Live 2013 go on sale via www.aeglive.co.uk on Friday March 1, 2013 at 9am. They start at £55, which includes not only the concert performances but also entry to the theme park, with its well-known array of rollercoasters and other attractions. Punters will have access to The Smiler, which is scheduled to open in May and is a new world-first for Alton Towers. The Smiler is described by Celebritain.com as “the Alton Towers Resort’s biggest ever ride and will combine plunging drops and extreme turns with twisted psychological effects.”
The line-up for Alton Towers Live reads like a who’s-who of British pop talent, right now and boasts a roster that managed to snare five 2013 Brit Award nominations between them. The one-day event is expected to be hugely popular, with Britain’s best homegrown talent all on the same bill.
It was a night where Girls Aloud were supposed to mark their comeback in style with a glittering opening performance at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena in London; yet since the girls have been away on individual endeavors the landscape of British pop music has changed somewhat and the five-piece were surprised to find themselves eclipsed by, among others, The Wanted - fresh from a jaunt supporting Justin Bieber in the USA - Calvin Harris and Example, among others.
I'm sure we're all in agreement that Conor Maynard is entitled to attend a couple of showbiz parties or glitzy premieres to wind down what has been a pretty sensational 2012 for the young chart-topper from Brighton. Maynard did just that on Wednesday evening (14 November), heading down to London's Leicester Square for the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. He's got the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena to come and has a chance at a 4Music Video Honour at the results show on 24 November.

British pop singer Conor Maynard arrives for a photocall on the observation deck of the Empire State Building situated on the 86th floor. Before posing for photos he appears to be trying to brush fluff off his black jacket. 'I look like I've been attacked by a sheep', he jokes.
You've got to feel sorry for Conor Maynard; fighting tooth and nail to get to the top of the music business, struggling to bump 'n' grind his way out of Justin Bieber's shadow. He'll be feeling the weight of that 'future of pop' tag on his shoulders, as well, of course. And at 19, trying to fight your way out of Justin Bieber's shadow is like going through school knowing that all the girls fancy your younger brother. Gah! How can such a young man cope with these emotions, on a global scale!? Maynard's not showing many signs of distress right now, though; in fact, there are probably other people in the world more greatly deserving of your sympathy.
