Ariana Grande continues what she's successfully started with 'pov' and 'safety net' as she releases a live video for 'positions'. The title track from her hugely popular sixth studio album is given a sympathetic make-over from it's originator as Ariana loops her vocals in the tranquility of a stylised meadow.
Grande has been sharing her live VEVO performances of songs from the number one album, including 'My Hair', '34+35' and 'Off The Table'. 'positions' is the sixth and final live video that Ariana will air and comes more than 20 months after the original album was released.
Under a pink oval 'halo' Ariana looks completely immersed in her performance as she sings in the garden dome. Wearing a silver and pink two-piece skirt, sleeveless top and black tights, Ariana looks relaxed as she sits on her folded legs with her silver sling-back sandals by her side. Her vocals are light and soft as she starts the song and starts to loop and layer her incredible sound.
Ariana Grande shifts gear at the half way mark and becomes more animated as the song progresses. Rising from her chair Ariana walks forward on to her meadow stage with her voice getting ever more expressive as she sings, "Switchin' the positions for you (for you, ah,)Cookin' in thе kitchen and I'm in the bedroom, I'm in the Olympics, way I'm jumpin' through hoops."
As the video was premiered Ariana took to Twitter, simply messaging, "and finally, positions, thank you @vevo so much."
