43 year old Fawaz said that he doesn't know on what date the funeral will take place.
George Michael’s boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, has claimed that he has been frozen out of the funeral arrangements made by the late singer’s family, and doesn’t even know when the service will take place.
In a new interview following the long-awaited coroner’s report that had delayed the funeral by several weeks, Fawaz said that he was being kept out of the loop regarding the arrangement of the ceremony.
“The funeral? I can’t give you an answer, everything is being kept quiet,” he told The Sun on Friday (March 10th). “I can’t tell you about the funeral – it should have happened a long time ago. This has gone on and on. I was in the middle of it all."

“But I don’t know anything about the funeral, I really don’t know anything. Believe me. It’s all so strange.”
Following the publication of the coroner’s report, which concluded that Michael had in fact died of natural causes, stemming from heart and liver disease, and that there wouldn’t be any further investigations, Fawaz has taken to social media.

It was Fawaz who discovered Michael’s body on the morning of Christmas Day last year at the singer’s home in Goring-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, and for the last two months he had been the centre of abuse and speculation about possible foul play.
“All the nasty comments, press and 999 were very cruel and unnecessary whatsoever, Now I hope to receive some real LOVE x,” the 43 year old tweeted, before deleting his account.
It had initially been reported back in early February that Fawaz had been told not to come to Michael’s funeral, demonstrating that the current situation has simmering for some time.
