Everyone is freaking out because Miley Cyrus' father has hinted that she has married Liam Hemsworth in secret. All it took was a suspicious photo of a photo on social media and six little words but the internet has blown up thinking the couple have made their vows.

Billy Ray Cyrus posted on Instagram a shot of his camera's viewfinder on which an image of an ecstatic-looking Miley in a white dress could be seen, alongside the caption: 'I'm so happy... you are happy.' Naturally, fans want to know what's going on.

We already knew that Miley and Liam were engaged (again) after it was confirmed in 2016 that they had re-kindled their romance three years after they initially broke up. Miley confirmed that news on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', but she kind of also said that she doesn't really want to get married.

'I think young people have a different idea of partnering and not feeling that this necessarily means this is going to have a legal document signed and dated because it's really sharing a life with someone and not about a legal paper that tells me anything', she said at the time. 'I fought so hard for LGBTQ rights to be able to get married but I don't even really want to.'

Could she now be eating her words? Or was she simply bluffing in a bid to keep her love life private? So far there are no other solid hints that the pair may have wed this week and, of course, happiness and white dresses aren't exclusively wedding orientated. However, Billy Ray has been re-Tweeting a number of wedding related comments from fans including: 'Did she get married...', 'I saw this and automatic[ally] thought wedding...' and 'Did Miley get married?! I NEED ANSWERS'.

We need answers too. Like now.
