Corey Feldman, the former child actor known for his roles in such films as The Goonies, The Lost Boys and Stand By Me, has published his autobiography Coreyography. It's not a tale for the faint hearted as 42-year-old Feldman describes the sexual abuse he suffered as a child working in Hollywood in the 80's.

Corey FeldmanFeldman's autobiography details the sexual abuse he suffered as a child.

Feldman particularly focusses on his relationship with Corey Haim, whom he met when he was 14 whilst working together on the film The Lost Boys. Haim died tragically in 2010 at the young age of 36 when he contracted pneumonia following fifteen rehab visits. Nevertheless, Feldman and Haim remained friends until 2008. Their relationship broke down when, during their reality show, The Two Coreys, Haim revealed he was sexually abused. Feldman wrote that, whilst Haim was filming for the 1986 movie Lucas, an adult male convinced him sexual relations between older males and young boys in the entertainment industry was usual. Haim was convinced and was sexually abused by the older man. It seems that Haim attempted to encourage Feldman to also "play around" with him; however Feldman told him "that's not what kids do".

This man who abused Haim is still active in Hollywood. Feldman stated Haim's abuser "walks around, one of the most successful people in the entertainment industry, still making money hand over fist."

Corey Feldman discusses his friendship with Michael Jackson.

According to the New York Post, Feldman's autobiography details how, from the age of 14-24, he and Haim lived with their abusers and partied, which ultimately led to Haim's destruction. Feldman also references his 'friendships' with a number of older men in his late teens and early twenties including an assistant of his fathers who sexually assaulted him. He also provides details of the twisted world he was privy too when he was friends with Michael Jackson - although he adamantly states Jackson did not abuse him in any way.

It is not just sexual abuse which Feldman details in his autobiography but the emotional abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother. His mother Sheila was a former Playboy model who had numerous mental health issues. She constantly told her son he was "fat" and force fed him diet pills. Later the abuse turned physical and Sheila threatened to kill her son on one occasion.

By the time Feldman was seven; his family relied on him as the bread winner. He was working on numerous commercials at the time and his mother constantly reminded him of his "responsibilities."

Coreyography is due to be released on 28th October.
