Managers at the State College Spikes team booked Feldman as the after-game entertainment on Sunday (19Jul15), but they were unhappy with the musical set he put on with two female backing singers, who wore white bikini tops and angel wings as part of their stage costume.

Representatives took to the team's Facebook page this week (begs20Jul15) to address the incident, admitting, "While the nature of the appearance was not what we had anticipated for the evening, we would like to apologize to all fans who may have been offended by its content...

"We would also like to apologize to our fans for the appearance being so far below expectations."

No specific criticisms of Feldman's show were made in the post, and some fans even appeared to have enjoyed the gig, responding by insisting bosses had nothing to apologise for.

Meanwhile, Feldman, who wore a Michael Jackson-style black jacket and sparkly pants for the event, defended himself online, claiming organisers were the ones who messed up.

In a series of posts, he wrote, "It was the most unprofessional event I've done... it was like working w (with) The 3 Stooges! Everything was done wrong (sic), and we get the blame?!? Lol (laugh out loud)!"
