Slipknot's bassist is recovering after being rushed to hospital for dehydration at a gig in Connecticut.
Alex 'V-Man' Venturella is ''well on the road to recovery'' after being rushed to hospital mid-gig in Hartford, Connecticut.
The Slipknot bass player suffered convulsions during their set due to dehydration on Sunday (02.08.15).
Singer, Corey Taylor and the whole band went back on stage to be with their bass player before they informed fans of what had happened, before carrying on with the show, according to MailOnline.
He told the crowd: ''I'm sorry to say that our bass player Alex had ... something happened. We're not sure what happened. He's been put into an ambulance and he's going to the hospital right now as we speak.''
The 'Wait and Bleed' metallers have since given an update on their band mate's recovery and assured fans he will be back in the ''Slipknot family'' soon.
Slipknot posted to Facebook: ''After a medical emergency during last night's show, we are relieved to let everyone know that our bass player, Alex 'V-Man' Venturella, is well on the road to recovery. Alex collapsed mid-set after feeling unwell and as a precautionary measure was taken to hospital where he was found to be suffering from severe dehydration.
''After recuperating overnight, he has now been discharged from hospital and is on his way back to his Slipknot family.''
Alex is expected to be fit enough to play their 'Summer's Last Stand' tour in Mansfield, Massachusetts tonight (04.08.15).
They continued: ''All being well, Alex will be back onstage with us tomorrow in Mansfield, Massachusetts. We thank everyone who reached out with messages and well wishes for Alex and we look forward to being back at full tilt for the rest of the Summer's Last Stand tour.''
