Ed Sheeran performed a short set of songs with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid in Northern Ireland at the weekend, at McDaid’s sister Brid’s wedding in Londonderry.

After the bride had tied the knot with her fiancé Sandy Stratham at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel, 25 year old Sheeran teamed up with the indie guitarist and songwriter McDaid, 40, for a half-hour performance that included a selection of Snow Patrol and Sheeran hits, plus some cover versions.

Courteney Cox has revealed she regrets letting the pressures of appearances lead her to get plastic surgery earlier in her career, saying that she has “learned lessons”.

The 52 year old former ‘Friends’ star spoke to Bear Grylls in a new episode of ‘Running Wild’ that aired on Monday (August 22nd), taking time out from hiking and survivalism in the Irish Highlands to talk about her career and love life.

“Getting older, I don't think that's the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons,” she told Grylls. “I think I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that. It's something you can't keep up with.”

Former ‘Friends’ star Courteney Cox is to follow in the footsteps of her colleague Matt LeBlanc and feature in a new British comedy series, reportedly set for a pilot episode early next year.

The 51 year old has reportedly signed up for a project for ITV called ‘Truthing’, according to Deadline and the Radio Times, and is also due to take up an executive production role in the show which will produce its pilot episode in early 2017. It will also be made by the same production company behind comedy-drama favourite ‘Cold Feet’.

More than a decade since it went off air, ‘Friends’ is set to get a long-awaited cast reunion, as the stars have announced they will get together for an NBC special in honour of the comedy’s director, James Burrows.

NBC made the exciting announcement on Wednesday (January 13th) at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Pasadena, California. Burrows, who directed 15 ‘Friends’ episodes as well as a number of other comedy favourites like ‘Taxi’, ‘Cheers’, ‘Frasier’ and ‘Will & Grace’, recently wrapped the 1,000th episode of television he’s filmed in his career.

Courteney Cox has called off her 18 month long engagement to rocker Jonny McDaid, according to new reports, after he had left the family home late last week and flown back to Britain.

The former ‘Friends’ star had been engaged to McDaid, the guitarist with British group Snow Patrol, since June 2014, the pair having started dating since late 2013. The pair had not been spotted in public since attending the premiere of Hand of God back in August this year, with Cox posting a picture of her fiancé on social media in September.

Gary Oldman Blunder: Silly, silly Gary Oldman. The actor has earned himself a reputation as one of Hollywood's thinkers but his thoughts on political correctness caused a stir this week. In a Playboy interview, the 56 year-old referenced Mel Gibson's infamous 2006 run-in with the police where he voiced an anti-Semitic view. Courteney Cox has become engaged to boyfriend Johnny McDaid and has confirmed the news via Twitter. The couple, who have been dating for around eight months, jetted to Amanyara in Turks and Caicos on the 14th June to celebrate the actress' 50th birthday and seem to have gotten engaged as well.

Sharing a cute beach selfie, Cox wrote "I'm engaged to him!" whilst the Snow Patrol musician posted the same photo with the caption "I'm engaged to her!"

The pair began dating last year after they were introduced by the British singer, Ed Sheeran. Although they haven't been dating that long, they're noticeably close and clearly in love.

So he didn’t morph into anyone, but Schwimmer did invite the police into his apartment so they could peruse security camera footage of the assault, which they subsequently left with and my use in court. Robert Rainey of Newark was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and robbery, sources told The New York Post. A 26-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital with stab wounds to the face.

Cougar Town has been renewed for its sixth and final series. The hit TBS series, starring Courtney Cox will finish its six year run in early 2015, it was announced yesterday (10th May).

The final season will include 13 episodes which will wrap up the series which also stars Josh Hopkins, Cristina Miller, Busy Philipps, Ian Gomez and Dan Byrd. Cougar Town centres on Jules Cobb (Cox) and her group of friends who survive the ups and downs of life in small town America.

Although the series initially aired on ABC, it was picked up by TBS in January of last year. TBS effectively saved the show from cancellation after two series on ABC. The show quickly became one of the networks best rated comedies with the most recent season averaging more than 2 million viewers with a 1.3 rating, as E! reports.

Friends fans might have had their dreams squashed by NBC adamantly denying any rumours of a reunion, but so did Lisa Kudrow. During her appearance on Conan this week, Kudrow admitted to having fallen for a false report and a rather convincing graphic. In fact, the Friends actress claimed the graphic was so good, that she began wondering why no one at NBC had spoken to her about joining the project.

Kudrow herself was fooled by reports.

"Okay, first of all. The graphic for this one thing was unbelievable. It looked really real," Kudrow told Conan O'Brien. "And then they were posting this article and the headline was like, 'NBC Confirms 5 out of 6 of the Friends Are In,' and I went, 'Oh my God. They didn't ask me.'"

Some sad news today - after nearly three years of divorce proceedings, the split between Courteney Cox and David Arquette is finally official. The couple, who got together in 1999, called it quits in 2010 and have been doing to court song and dance ever since then. According to the Washington Post, a judge officially approved the split this Tuesday, after 14 years of marriage. No details of the divorce settlement have been announced.

Cox and Arquette legally separated on Dec. 31, 2011, about six months before the pair officially filed for divorce. The couple met while filming “Scream” and announced their split in October 2010. Still, the divorce remained civil and the pair vowed to stay friends and continue raising their daughter together. The struggle to get the divorce finalized has been painfully slow, so the fact that the couple managed to remain friends throughout can only be held to their credit.

Additionally, Cox and Arquette also have some shared creative ventures. After Cox gained international stardom on the 90s sitcom Friends, she moved on to the series Cougartown, which is produced, not so coincidentally, by David Arquette. The producer and actor has also appeared in such films as Never Been Kissed. The People website was the first to break the news that the divorce had been finalised.

Speculation that the cast of Friends were ready to reunite for a 2014 reunion reached fever pitch last week. Jennifer Aniston, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox were apparently ready to commit to another season of a show, with a graphic featuring the Friends 'sofa' and 'The One With the Reunion' began circulating online.

The apparent silence of the key stars only added to the rumors, though Friends creator Marta Kauffman finally spoke up at the Call me Crazy premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (April 16, 2013). "I'm going to clear this up-it's not happening!" she said, deflating the hopes of thousands of Friends fans. "Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore." Funnily enough, Kauffman said she first learned of the rumor when overhearing some people talking about it at a bar. Nevertheless, representatives for NBC and Warner Bros are yet to comment, though a source at NBC told E! Online the rumor was "not true."

Last year, Aniston - who played Rachel Green in the long-running series - played down a reunion, especially on the big-screen. "I can't imagine how you would do it, unless you did it years from now.I can't imagine what that would be. It's not normal. Friends is in your living room; Friends is not in a movie theater. It doesn't make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self."

Courteney Cox's reunion with her F.R.I.E.N.D.S co-star Matthew Perry will air in April, when the actress, 48, appears on an episode of Perry's freshman sitcom Go On. Cox and Perry - who played husband and wife Monica Geller and Chandler Bing on the NBC sitcom - will reunite nine years after the Friends finale in 2004.

Go On focuses on a sports talk radio host (Perry) who finds comfort and several new pals in a support group after his wife's death. Cox will play a new love interest for her former on-screen husband. It's the latest mini-Friends reunion, following Cox's cameo on Lisa Kudrow's Showtime series Web Therapy. Jennifer Aniston and Kudrow have also both appeared on Cox's show Cougar Town. She recently spoke about her 10-year run on the beloved NBC sitcom, telling US Weekly, "I catch reruns of Friends and I don't even remember being there. I'm like, 'That is funny! I'd love to see the rest of the cast," she added, referring to Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.

Perry has tasted moderate success with Go On, while Matt LeBlanc won acclaim for his BBC series Episodes. Schwimmer remains busy as an actor, producer and director.

If you don’t have enough incentive to tune into this season of Courteney Cox’s show Cougar Town, maybe this will change your mind – the star has decided that this season (and why not all of 2013) will be all about her cleavage.

"You will not see one scene that I don't show my boobs," Cox joked to reporters at a Television Critics Association panel for Cougar Town on Friday "You know what? I'm getting older, so I've decided at this point I'm taking less focus off the face, and focusing [on my chest]. By the time I'm much older, I will just be absolutely nude. I think it's gonna work for me, I hope." She was only mostly joking, however. In fact, Cox and her co-star Josh Hopkins really will strip down for an episode of Cougar Town. The plot? The pair try to spice up their marriage and hold a Naked Day.

And if you think that watching a couple of nude 40-year-olds walk around for half an hour, don’t worry, of course no actual nudity will be displayed in the episode. Cox says that it’s all Hollywood magic and she didn’t really prepare for the nude shoot: "Lighting is everything! I'm not kidding. You could walk into a room and go, 'Wow! I look great today.' And one step further, you're like, 'Oh my God, I look horrible!” We’re sure anyone, who’s ever seen themselves in the mirror, under a club bathroom’s fluorescent lights, will agree there.

Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town is moving from ABC to TBS on Tuesday (January 8, 2013) and by the sounds of a new story from NY Daily News, she’s leaving a lot of her clothes behind.

Oh, you want more details? Well, there’s the episode in which Cox’s character Jules Cobb and her new husband Grayson (played by Josh Hopkins) decide to have ‘Naked Day’ to spice their marriage up a little bit, for starters.

Cox told New York Daily News that Naked Day is “a way to keep their marriage fresh” and Cox explains that although the scenes were filmed discreetly, it was still a bit of a challenge to get everything right and still keep everyone’s dignity intact. “It turned out there was only one place in the whole house where the lighting worked for everything,” Cox explained. “Step away from that spot and it all went to pieces.” It’s not quite the raunchy treat that some might be expecting though, as apparently “someone said it was sexy for five minutes, then it was just two middle-aged people with their clothes off.”

The TBS sitcom about a middle-aged Mom starring Courteney Cox and Christa Miller will be back for its fourth season on January 8th and its makers and cast have promised fun stuff from the new series.

Lawrence also joked, "the big difference is we've shifted from Brian Van Holt not wearing his shirt all the time to Josh Hopkins not wearing his shirt all the time. I think that was probably TBS' only big note." 

One story line that fans may be looking forward to this year covers 'naked day'. "It was sexy for about five minutes and then it was just two middle aged people standing around naked," Lawrence said. He's really selling it there.
