Courteney Cox says although she doesn't consider herself a "cougar" at the moment, she has always been attracted to younger men and can't rule out becoming more like her Cougar Town character Jules Cobb.
During an interview with the UK's Hello magazine, the 47-year-old actress discussed series three of the hit sitcom in which she plays a divorced woman who dates much younger men. The former Friends star explained, "It depends on your definition of cougar [whether I am one]. I was married for all of those years to a man seven years younger than me so obviously I'm attracted to younger men.I'm not being a cougar right now, but we'll see what my future holds". Cox was referring to her marriage to 40-year-old actor David Arquette - the pair split last year after David admitted to an infidelity during a live radio interview. The couple are parents to 7-year-old daughter Coco but Courteney says she is pleased with how the youngster has responded to the split, saying, "We have a long drive from our home on the beach to her school - it's a good 45 or 50 minutes - and that's a time we use to talk about all sorts of things, like friendships, love and what she's going through with David and myself".
Despite the separation, Cox supported Arquette throughout his recent stint on DANCING WITH THE STARS.
