Kit Harington has replaced Robert Pattinson in 'Brimstone'.

The 'Game of Thrones' star has taken over from the 'Twilight' actor - who was previously announced in the role at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year - and will appear in the thriller opposite Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning.

The 28-year-old actor - who is best known for his portrayal of John Snow on the hit HBO series - will play an outlaw, while Fanning will star as a young heroine on the run and Pearce will play her pursuer in the tale of retribution.

The movie also stars Carice van Houten and will be directed by Martin Koolhoven, according to Deadline.com.

Meanwhile, Harington - whose character was killed off in the show's shocking season finale earlier this month - recently expressed his desire to appear in the 'Zoolander 2'.

The hunky actor confessed he would jump at the chance to star in the fashion spoof sequel, in which Ben Stiller plays dimwitted male model Derek Zoolander.

When asked if he would like to be in the highly anticipated sequel, Kit replied: ''Of course I would, I'm putting it out there, yeah. I'd like to play a character in 'Zoolander 2', I don't want to play myself.''

Although he wants to take on more comedic roles, Kit also insisted he's not interested in appearing in romantic comedies.

He said: ''I'm not really a rom-com person, I really like farcical comedy like 'Toast of London' or Will Ferrell-style, really stupid s**t.''
